Sunday School

At Flatonia Baptist Church, we believe that Sunday School is a great opportunity to study God's word, get to know fellow believers, and build relationships that will strengthen you and encourage you for years to come.

Regardless of your age, background, or walk of life, we have a Sunday School class that will be a great fit for you!

Children
Our children's classes are divided by age in order to provide each child an environment that is conducive to learning and making lifelong friends.  Our children's classes are:

  • Pre-K
  • Kindergarten
  • 1st-3rd Grade
  • 4th-6th Grade

We also have a nursery available during both Sunday School and Church for our youngest children.

Youth
The entire youth group (7th-12th grades) meets together in the Youth Room in the Sellers Center for Bible Study and fellowship.

Adults
Our adult classes are geared toward the in-depth study of God's Word as well as providing fellowship and support during the stages of our lives. In our adult Sunday School classes, you will find a welcoming environment, knowledgable teachers, and friendly class members who love and encourage each other.  Although you will find most of our classes are made up of members who are at similar points in their lives, anyone is welcome to be part of any class.  Our adult classes are:

  • College class - made up of college students, taught by Pastor Tim and Deborah. (Meets in the church office.)
  • Young Adult class - primarily made up of younger adults with small children (Facebook Group)
  • Rodger's class - primarily made up of adults with older children
  • FaithWorks class - primarily made up of adults who are nearing or just past retirement age
  • Bitta's class - a ladies-only class
