Our Leadership Structure
We believe that the head of the church is Jesus Christ. All that we do seeks to advance Christ’s kingdom and is conducted, to the best of our ability, in obedience to Him.
As a congregational church, our congregation is the final earthly authority in the administration, mission, and ministries of our church. Our congregation meets once each quarter for our Quarterly Business Meeting, during which we review the church’s finances and other important administrative matters. Additionally, the congregation votes to approve our church’s yearly budget, call (hire) ministry staff members, and approve all other major administrative matters.
The Church Council is the primary administrative committee. Meeting once each month, the Church Council manages the administrative affairs of our church and provides accountability and oversight to all that we do. Additionally, the Church Council makes recommendations to our congregation on matters that require the congregation’s approval. The Church Council is made up of our staff, deacons, treasurer, church clerk, and leaders of our key ministries.
Our Church Staff manages most of the day-to-day operations of our church under the leadership and oversight of the Church Council.
